Bluebird K7 Festival at Lake Coniston - Bank Ground Farm
11–17 May 2026 - Hydro Jet Plane Bluebird K7 returns to Coniston Water after 59 years.
Come along to Bank Ground Farm for the Bluebird K7 Festival and soak in panoramic lake views with a visitor's pass to our half a mile of lake frontage. Make the day unforgettable with the Old Man of Coniston mountain as a stunning backdrop to enjoy the action on the water.

Swallows & Amazons Café and Restaurant
Our cafe and restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the festival, with both indoor and outdoor garden seating available. Your base to refuel and relax with our sustainably sourced farm fresh food.
- Café: open between 9am-5pm serving brunch and lunch
- Restaurant: open between 5.30-8pm serving dinner

Coniston activities
Where watersports may not be guaranteed for visitors, there’s still plenty of fun to be had in Coniston.
Friends, couples and families can enjoy easy walking access to the village for more festival events. There’s also plenty of local nature hikes and mountain bike trails for all levels in the mountains, hills and World Heritage Site of Grizedale forest.

Bluebird K7 Festival information
The Bluebird K7 Festival runs from 11–17 May 2026, with daytime activities planned between 10am and 5pm Monday to Sunday.
Bluebird K7’s time on the water is weather dependent, so the exact day she will run cannot be confirmed in advance. The festival team will make the call based on conditions, with safety always the priority.
